Clinical Pharmacology Department Conducts Educational Outreach at the Public Health Technical School

In April 2025, faculty members of the Clinical Pharmacology Department at the 2nd Medical Faculty of Tashkent Medical Academy visited the Abu Ali ibn Sina Public Health Technical School, located in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent.

The primary purpose of the visit was to engage third-year students in a career guidance session and to provide detailed information about TMA’s academic activities and faculties.

During the seminar, the department’s professors introduced the history and structure of the academy, presenting various faculties such as General Medicine (1st and 2nd), Pediatrics, Dentistry, Traditional Medicine, Medical Pedagogy and Forensic Translation, Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Ecology and Environmental Protection, Pharmacy, Medical Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Management, and International Programs.

The seminar highlighted the use of modern pedagogical innovations and information-communication technologies in the educational process, along with the favorable learning environment offered to students. The presentation included slides, handouts, and interactive discussions with questions and feedback from the students.

Following the event, the following decisions were made:

  • To establish regular cooperation with the Clinical Pharmacology Department of TMA for ongoing career guidance activities;

  • To have the school psychologist conduct trainings and assessments to help guide students toward suitable professional paths.

This event served as an important step in strengthening collaboration and fostering greater interest in the medical field among students.
